The Pairs, Fours & Senior Fours will be draw at the Stewartry Management meeting in early June.

County Finals will be at New Abbey on the 6th September.

The Top Ten Final will be played this year at New Abbey on 26th June.

The first round is on the 12th June.

The Scottish Intercounty Top Ten Association held their end of season tournament on Saturday 6th September at Gorgie Mills Bowling Club in Edinburgh. County Association teams from all over Scotland compete for the Kenny Milne Memorial Trophy and also make the draw for the following years Inter County Top Ten. The trophy was won this year by the Stewartry rink of Bob Hope, Bill Neville, Hugh Robertson & John McGarrie. In the first round next year Castle Douglas have a local derby - away to Stranraer.

The final of the Seniors Triples League between Gatehouse winners of section ‘A’ and Auchencairn section ‘B’ winners was played today at Dalbeattie. The result was Gatehouse 2/21  -  Auchencairn 4/29.

Ian Connel, Billy Glendinning & Michael Kirkpatrick lost to William Carruthers, James Cruickshanks & David Kiltie  12  -  7

Bob Hope, Eric Allison & Jack Crocket beat Tom Kirkpatrick, Jack Wallace & Robert Watson  22  -  9

Sadly Frank Johnstone who was County President last year has passed away. We send our sympathy to Helen & Steven. His funeral is on Tuesday 13th August at 1pm at Kirkcudbright Parish Church.
