Stewartry had Dunbartonshire as guests at Castle Douglas on Saturday in the final county game of the season.  The hosts fought hard with nothing more at stake than pride, and around half way through the match began to take control, notching up a 20 shot lead. Dunbartonshire fought back to get the deficit back below 10 shots, but the Stewartry picked it up again and ran out comfortable winners by 139 shots to 110.

Stewartry travelled to Rutherglen in Glasgow on Saturday to take on Glasgow East.  The game was close for a good part however the Stewartry lads held their form better and stretched away mid way through the game to secure their second win of the campaign by 130 shots to 106.  The victory moved them up to 5th of 8 in the table, and a victory against Dunbartonshire at Castle Douglas on Saturday could see them finish in the top half of the table.

Stewartry took on Renfrewshire on Saturday at New Abbey in a rain affected match.  The game was played over just 11 ends due to the weather.  Stewartry had only one losing rink, however they still came out on the losing side by 56 shots to 64.  Results - Stewartry skips first :

Stewartry took on section leaders Lanarkshire South at Kirkcudbright on Saturday.  They fought well and led early on, however Lanarkshire stuck to the task better and wore down the Stewartry lads to take the victory 132 - 109.

Stewartry traveled to Stranraer on Saturday and got off to a great start, leading Wigtownshire by 28 shots at one stage early in the game, however Wigtownshire fought back and went ahead.  Stewartry pegged them back to 6 shots late on in the game but Wigtownshire finished stronger and took the 2 points 125 - 105.

Saturday at Dalbeattie saw a superb Stewartry performance when the home county came up against Ayrshire South.  The Stewartry took command early on and kept their focus and concentration to run out winners by 40 shots.
