Bowls Scotland have set up a working group to look at the future of the Hamilton Trophy - the group consists of 2 former County Secretaries, 2 current County Secretaries and 2 current District secretaries.

The working group want to hear the thoughts of all players, officials and county associations to find out what ideas there are on how to make the competition more inventive and attractive to players and potential sponsors. Responses are requested by 12th February 2012.

 If you have any ideas you can email events@bowlsscotland.com.  Alternatively Stewartry Secretary Graeme Maxwell has offered to collate ideas from Stewartry bowlers, clubs and the association itself.  You can email Graeme at graeme.maxwell@tiscali.co.uk or speak to him directly with your ideas.

This is a great opportunity for the bowlers in the Stewartry to influence the future of the competition to get the best outcome for our members and clubs so please give the question some thought and air your views!
